These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Cura, including our websites, applications and related services. By using Cura, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cura, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Cura on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Our Services

Cura provides software for educational institutions, including but not limited to:

  • Parent communication
  • Pupil management
  • Teacher and staff management
  • Announcements and messaging
  • Billing and payment processing
  • Academic records and reporting

3. User Accounts

Schools are responsible for creating and managing accounts for administrators, teachers, parents and finance personnel.

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Keep login credentials secure.
  • Notify the school if unauthorized access is suspected.

4. Payments

Cura may integrate with third-party payment providers such as Paystack to facilitate school fee payments.

Cura does not store card details. All payment processing is handled securely by certified payment providers.

Refunds, fee disputes and payment policies are determined by the individual school.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to Cura.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Interfere with platform availability.
  • Use the service for unlawful purposes.
  • Copy or reverse engineer the platform.

6. School Responsibilities

Schools are responsible for:

  • Ensuring information entered into Cura is accurate.
  • Managing user permissions.
  • Obtaining any necessary parental consent.
  • Complying with applicable education and privacy laws.

7. Intellectual Property

Cura, its software, branding, design, documentation and technology remain the exclusive property of Cura and its licensors.

Schools receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform during an active subscription.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cura shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are violated, where required by law, or where continued access would compromise platform security.

11. Changes to the Service

We may update, improve or discontinue features to enhance the platform. Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated where appropriate.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the contracting Cura entity operates, unless otherwise required by local law.
